Description

We currently seek Project Commissioning Specialist to join our Team based in Renton, WA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical support throughout installation, commissioning, and start up of mechanical, electrical and environmental control systems at new and existing buildings.
Review designs of mechanical/ electrical plans and specifications for each system or unit.
Manage start-up process and implement checklists for use by mechanical contractors.
Complete functional performance tests and oversee process with contractors.
Review and optimize building controls and energy management systems.
Participate in project teams to test/ monitor equipment and reduce energy use and demand.
Prepare commissioning reports to communicate overall results.
Perform other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
Trade or Vocational education with 3 years’ experience as an HVAC Technician or Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB) Technician.
Exposure to HVAC system analysis and design, facility operations and mechanical installation projects involving chiller and boiler plants, motors, VSDs, HVAC design/ retrofit, building automation, energy conservation, or distributed generation.
Proven ability to manage and complete complex projects in a timely, cost-effective manner. Ability to read and interpret system and equipment plans, specifications, manuals
Strong verbal, written, computer communication and technical presentation skills.
U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
Will be required to pass security clearance investigation.
Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
Travel required.
