Transit Engineer IV (Mechanical)
SALARY:    $78,832.00 - $111,176.00 Annually
LOCATION: King Street Center - 201 S Jackson St, Seattle
King County Department of Transportation – Metro Transit Division
Job Summary
As a member of the Mechanical Engineering team in Metro’s Design and Construction Section, this position performs advanced level engineering for both major and smaller Transit facility capital projects, including the preparation of engineering designs, specifications and design reports, providing assistance to project managers with the establishment of project budgets and schedules, and the performance of quality control reviews of consultant designs.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, registration as a Professional Mechanical Engineer (in the State of Washington or the ability to obtain a state license within 90 days of hire) and five years’ experience as a mechanical engineer.
